1991-1995

In 1991, Dmitry Zelenov began working at the Smith Barney Shearson investment bank as a securities broker. In 1994, he became a member of the board of directors of the Interfinance investment company. Since 1995, he worked as a director of the holding company Donstroy.

2022: Death in strange circumstances

Dmitry Zelenov, co-founder of the Russian development group of companies Donstroy, died in France. This was reported on December 18, 2022 by Nice-Matin, citing data from the Gras County Prosecutor's Office.

The newspaper called Zelenov's death "mysterious and fatal," pointing out that it has added to the tragic cases with Russian oligarchs in recent times in France. It is noted that the Russian businessman fell from the railing on December 9, 2022, when he was visiting friends in Antibes. He died on December 10 at the Pasteur Hospital in Nice, where he was hospitalized after the incident.
