2023: Device Announcement

The South electronic engineers LG Korean manufacturer of household in early 2023 introduced headphones for calm sleep called Breeze. The company calls the new product an intelligent sleep solution with many additional functions. Technically, these are the same headphones as other devices in their class, but are aimed precisely at using before and during bed.

LG Breeze are designed to be worn while sleeping, these lightweight headphones play synchronized brainwave sounds of various frequencies, including static and dynamic binaural beats. Scientists believe that the difference in sound frequencies causes brain waves that contribute to falling asleep or the transition to deep sleep, which requires from 0.5 to 3 Hz of brain wave. For example, activating 100 Hz sounds in the left ear and 98 Hz or 102 Hz sounds in the right ear causes 2 Hz rhythms that are characteristic of a person's deep sleep phase.

The weight of each earphone is only 6 grams (both 12 grams). The LG Breeze case has UVnano ultraviolet technology to keep it clean while destroying dangerous microbes. In addition to 80 built-in brainwave-tuned sounds, lullabies and nature sounds that trigger an autonomous response from sensory meridians, LG Breeze headphones can sync with your preferred music or video from youtube.

The LG Breeze device provides the optimal frequency according to the current sleep state of the user, which is determined using an electromyography sensor. Thanks to this, the headphones can also learn the user's sleep mode. Moreover, the device from LG has a companion mobile application that collects and analyzes the user's sleep data to offer him a sleep mode.

Smart headphones can track the time a user falls asleep and wakes up, their sleep head position and various fluctuations during sleep. In particular, LG Breeze headphones are able to determine various stages of sleep - fast, deep, the so-called hypnosis phase just before falling asleep, and so on. The device counts the number of user steps during the day and uses this data to bring the device user's sleep to a certain state at night.^[1]
