In Rosmorport implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX is complete

GMCS completed one of stages of implementation of a corporate information system of century at the beginning of 2011 Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport. The project provides use of solutions Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos. In April, 2011 GMCS started replication of a corporate information system of management of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport based on the solutions Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos Enterprise Planning in Azovo-Chernomorsky and Northwest basin branches. On all branches operating in 16 subjects of the Russian Federation are put into operation of a system of collecting of statistical reporting for internal use and external bodies (Rosstat).

At the end of 2010 pilot projects were brought into trial operation in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Since January 1, 2011 in a corporate system three more managements of the Northwest pool and management of Azovo-Chernomorsky basin branch in Novorossiysk began to work. Since April 1, 2011 Taman, Tuapse, Yeysk, Murmansk, Arkhangelsk joined them.

It is planned that since July 1, 2011 GMCS will start replication of a system in the Northeast and in the Far East. On completion of replication the number of users of a corporate information system will make over 400 people and will increase further.

Goal

The project task - to increase effective management of financial and economic activity of the enterprise customer.

Realities

The complete solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos provides a scope of the sphere of budgeting, accounting and tax accounting, accounting of port charges, the reporting, payroll accounting and the personnel.

Milestones of a way

The development of techniques of budgeting and separate accounting of income and expenses executed jointly by specialists Rosmorport and GMCS became the first stage of project implementation.

Formation of the program of activity Rosmorport on new budget model will become a final stage of the project of budgeting.

Basis of integration and determination

As the platform of automation Rosmorport selected the complete solution based on Microsoft Dynamics AX and IBM Cognos. Representatives of the company proved the choice by the most complete satisfaction to the existing requirements.

Strategy and tactics

In the light of the forthcoming incorporating, existence of CIS purchases special value for Rosmorport and has a strategic importance. A system will provide transparency and efficiency of obtaining information and consolidated statements for financial management and other structures.

According to the developed strategy of step-by-step implementation of the project, several independent subsystems were selected: fixed asset accounting and intangible assets, budgeting, accounting and tax accounting, statistical reporting, payroll accounting and personnel, accounting of port charges.

Since February, 2010 there is step-by-step system implementation in the headquarters and in all branches of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport.

The number of users will make more than 400 people.

At the beginning of 2012 in Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport implementation of the corporate information system (CIS) is complete. The single system of accounting, tax accounting and fixed asset accounting constructed based on Microsoft Dynamics AX is implemented in central office (Moscow) and in 14 branches of the enterprise performing activity in 54 seaports of the Russian Federation. The project is executed together with GMCS.

Along with system implementation actions for ensuring failsafe work of CIS and creation of own technical support service are successfully implemented. The center of technical support of branches of the Far East is created. Now there is a work on formation of the similar centers based on Northwest, Azovo-Chernomorsky and Azov basin branches.

In plans of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport for the near future – development of the management reporting in the system of a business intelligence IBM Cognos BI, implementation of the systems "Budgeting", "Port charges" and personnel management systems.

Use of a uniform corporate information system – the major tool for optimal resource allocation of the enterprise, operational acceptance of management decisions, effective long-term planning of development of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Rosmorport.
