The Topoplan Credo program is designed to create a digital model of the engineering area, prepare and print drawings of tablets and topographic plans.
2023: Key Opportunities
Creating a Digital Terrain Model
The digital terrain model (DMM) includes a digital terrain model (DSM) and a digital situation model (DSM).
The basis of the DCM construction is the points at which an irregular grid of triangles builds a relief model with high accuracy. Characteristic terrain areas, such as ridges, cliffs, etc., can be highlighted by structural lines.
The surface with its various elements is displayed in both the plan window and the 3D view window.
Modeling of surfaces (curbs, embankments, retaining walls, etc.) is carried out using EH with a double profile. To build a surface, the specialist will always be able to choose the appropriate creation or editing tool, depending on the source data and tasks.
In the system, you can analyze the created terrain model by creating a section of an arbitrary section. Data is transmitted to the section, the set of which is determined by the user himself: symbols of crossed communications, data of the expanded plan, geological data, etc.
The digital model of the situation is formed using point, area and linear topographic objects based on the classifier. Topographic objects are represented by symbols according to the current survey scale. The software contains a set of 3D object models. By assigning 3D objects to conditional characters, you can see the display of the situation model in a 3D view.
Creating Drawings
When you create drawings and tablets, you first create a drawing model that you can modify to the desired quality. Drawing models are defined by the layout of drawing templates or tablets on a digital plan model or cut by a contour.
In the case of an extended object, the user can lay out individual drawing sheets or plates over the entire area of the object.
Drawings created in the program are printed directly. You can also export drawings to DXF CAD format or graphics formats (JPG, PDF). The program provides for the creation of tablets in accordance with regulatory documentation.
Working with Point Clouds
The program implements the import of point clouds in LAS, CPC, TXT formats. A point cloud obtained by ground or air laser scanning, photogrammetric processing of photography materials, etc., can be imported into the system, used to create its own point clouds, and then take into account cloud points in various constructions.
The number of points with which the program can work reaches several billion.
Based on the original cloud, you can create your own point clouds by exporting groups of scanner-classified points, selecting relief points, or thinning according to the specified parameters (while maintaining the characteristic relief forms). The source cloud file is always the same.
The points of all loaded visible clouds are displayed in a 3D view.
You can create relief points from cloud points, as well as perform various drawings in the plan window. You cannot edit cloud points except to control their display (size and color).
A section line is drawn over the clouds, which is a graphic mask similar to a surface section. You can create a black longitudinal profile and a black transverse profile from the cloud section mask.
