SMART-KP Electra represents intelligent distributed system of collecting of processing and information transfer on the basis of industrial network CAN. Support of two CAN interfaces with different capacity allows to build based on the modules SMART-KP Electra, both distributed systems, and the devices grouped in uniform construct. A basic element of a system is the central processor module providing data exchange with input-output modules on CAN network and also on two independent channels of telemechanics under IEC protocol 870-5-101. Modules of input of an output SMART-KP Electra are functionally finished microprocessor devices focused on accomplishment of a certain set of function (for example, collecting of the CU or TIT).
Use as a part of modules of high-performance microcontrollers allows to perform to modules such functions as filtering of a tinkling sound of the CU, smoothing of TIT, registration of events of the CU with an accuracy of 1 ms, etc. The wide nomenclature of modules allows to create flexibly devices with a different data capacity from 8 TIT, 16 CU, 8 specifications up to 512 CU, 512 TIT, 512 specifications.

Functions
- Collection of information about a status of on-off objects (CU) with an accuracy of registration of events to 1 ms;
- Collection of information about the current parameter values (TIT) with an accuracy of registration of events to 20 ms;
- Collecting of integrated parameter values (TII);
- Data collection from digital measuring transducers or counters of the electric power (CPI 6806, Alpha, etc.)
- Telecontrol by on-off objects (specification) with the increased protection against false operations;
- Exchange of teleinformation on two independent communication channels under IEC protocol 870-5-101 (cyclically and on demand).
