2022: Delivery of heat-resistant video surveillance system

On January 24, 2023, the Roselectronics holding of Rostec State Corporation announced the supply of a glass-resistant factory-resistant video surveillance system to Bor to control the glass-making process in order to further produce sheet and automotive glass. The equipment is used inside a glass melting furnace and is capable of operating at temperatures up to 1600 ° C.

The digital video camera included in the surveillance system is protected by a water-cooled steel double-circuit casing. To prevent dust and flame from entering the optics, the space in front of the lens protective glass is blown with compressed air. The system transmits the video signal to the control console and archives the image. In the event of an emergency, for example, overheating of the chamber or power outage, light and sound alarms are activated.

The developer and manufacturer of the equipment is part of Roselectronics NIIPT Raster.

At the Bor Glass Plant, our equipment is used to remotely control the melt glass process, where the use of conventional surveillance equipment is impossible due to extremely high temperatures. Video monitoring not only ensures production safety, improves product quality, but also improves working conditions, facilitates debugging and automation of the production process, "said Olga Krotova, Executive Director of Rastr NIIPT.
