Red OS Compatibility

Nexign and RED SOFTWARE have confirmed the compatibility of Nexign software products designed to support the work of Russian telecom operators with the Russian operating system RED OS. Inclusion in the register of domestic software

On January 24, 2023, Nexign announced the inclusion of the Nexign Diameter Routing Agent (DRA) product in the unified register of domestic software Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. Nexign DRA provides real-time routing of messages between network elements using the Diameter protocol, load balancing, message conversion for ease of subsequent processing in a complex multi-tender network. It helps operators reduce maintenance costs and improve the security of the signal network, as well as implement complex monetization scenarios in 3G, 4G networks, including 5G NSA (Non-Standalone).

Nexign DRA is a fully domestic development that implements the functionality of 3GPP DRA, a mandatory element of the LTE network. It could replace foreign counterparts from Oracle, Huawei and other manufacturers.

Nexign DRA manages signaling traffic in mobile networks and ensures the security of the signaling network. It implements Diameter Firewall functionality according to GSMA FS.19 to protect the network from potential attacks from external networks as well as roaming fraud. The product guarantees the operation of complex scenarios, including calls via LTE (VoLTE), flexible traffic management in roaming and complex charging based on quality of service (QoS). Nexign DRA works in 3G, 4G, 5G NSA networks, helps route requests according to parameters and provides horizontal scaling for network core elements such as MME, HSS, OCS, PCRF, PCEF, IMS.
