The process took about six months. The transition enables the company to significantly optimize costs for courier service, and in the future - for storing archival documents. CEDO will also speed up and automate personnel processes and relieve unnecessary burden on employees by reducing routine actions. As a result of the transition, the process of processing and signing documents has doubled.

The introduction of electronic document management became possible after the changes in Labor legislation in November 2021. Then articles were added to the Labor Code, which allowed the signing in electronic form of almost all personnel documents.

After selecting a contractor, the process was implemented in several stages: developing the architecture, preparing regulatory documents, familiarizing employees with them and training. CED provides convenience for an internal client - an employee connected to the CED can view and download all his documents signed remotely when using his personal account. You can also track in it at what stage of approval a particular document is located.

Thoughts about the transition to electronic document management arose a couple of years ago. Then, due to quarantine, everyone worked in a remote format, and interaction in terms of signing documents was extremely difficult. We have more than 70 branches in the regions, and paper document flow slowed down processes and increased the load, including financial. The improvement of legislation in this matter brought our plans closer. In addition to financial savings, KEDO will save at least 80 thousand sheets of paper per year, said Anna Ushakova, Director of the Personnel Policy Department of Sberbank Leasing JSC.
