2023: Plan for the transition to the use of domestic paper foundations
The metropolitan enterprise "Artbum" will begin to use Russian raw materials for the manufacture of papers with a heat-sensitive coating. This was announced on January 30, 2023 by the head of the department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow, which is part of the complex of economic policy and property and land relations of the capital, Vladislav Ovchinsky.
The plant produces products under the Lomond trademark and specializes in the production of check tapes for cash registers, ATMs and faxes, self-adhesive materials for the manufacture of labels and labels, as well as printing products, including special photo papers, inks and matrix cartridges.
The capital city industry is becoming more and more resistant to external challenges every year. The companies carry out comprehensive work to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers. Thus, for development import substitution Moscow , the Artbum enterprise will switch to the use of paper foundations of Russian production for the production of thermal paper. Thus, the company will refuse to supply foreign analogues. For this, already in 2023, a building with an area of 220 square meters will be erected on the territory of the plant, in which additional equipment will be installed, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. |
The task of the plant in 2022 was to preserve the volume of production, the existing range of products, to find new suppliers and supply channels. These goals were achieved despite the fact that most of the raw materials used in the production were included in the list of products for which sanctions restrictions were imposed, - said the representative of the company Dmitry Matskulyak. |
In 2022, the company also managed to expand the range of products and develop production technologies, which made it possible to systematically increase the depth of processing of materials within the framework of import substitution and optimize costs.
