2023: Admission to use on ships

The company received a certificate of typical approval of e-INS software that supports e-Navigation services. The development is designed to improve the safety of navigation. The developer of specialized software is Steor, part of Sitronics KT.

The development of e-navigation services involves the creation of a unified digital exchange environment data between coastal systems and ships in the water area. e-INS is designed for installation on ships and provides increased safety of navigation due to interaction with e-Navigation services.

Expanding the functionality of Bering.ECNIS, it provides more detailed information on the screen for the crew to assess the environment on the route, as well as automates the transfer of information from the ship to coastal centers (port or office of the shipping company). Data for each event is generated and sent by the program.

E-INS in 2022 was tested on seven vessels of Rosmorport. Now its use is possible on all ships where our Bering. ECNIS system will be installed, which already has a certificate from the Russian Maritime Register. The use of the system increases the safety of navigation, its effectiveness and information awareness of the crew, "said Andrey Rodionov, General Director of Sitronics KT.

The E-INS navigation system supports both standard information exchange protocols and data formats adopted by international organizations (exchange of routes, receipt of weather forecasts and ice maps) and proprietary services. For example, interaction with the ice operations headquarters for planning icebreaker wiring.

E-INS can operate on any vessels equipped with Bering.EKNIS and Bering.RLD. The software is a functional extension and does not require additional hardware.
