2023: Results of participation in the project "Labor productivity"

The Moscow manufacturer of pumping equipment in the marine and special version of Vane Hydraulic Machines JSC completed the first six months of participation in the national project "Labor Productivity." During this time, it increased output on the pilot stream by 44 percent. This was reported on February 2, 2023 by the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city of Moscow.

To implement improvements, the company chose the process of producing hydraulic pumps used in cooling and fire extinguishing systems on ships, ships and onshore facilities. For six months, experts, together with the company's employees, adjusted production processes using a lean production technique. For example, by rearranging workplaces in workshops, it was possible to reduce the distance of movement of parts during assembly. This helped reduce the production time by 40 days - from 126 to 86, and reduce unused stocks on the line by 56 percent.

In the near future, the company plans to independently replicate the established practices on the processes of production, assembly, purchase, maintenance and repair of pumping equipment.

LGM JSC is one of the manufacturers of pumps. The company supplied hydraulic equipment for the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome, the Arktika nuclear icebreaker, the Akademik Lomonosov floating nuclear power plant, and also developed equipment for the construction of the Crimean bridge.
