2023: Installation of Hevel modules on the roofs of medical institutions and kindergartens

The modules Hevel"" were installed on the roofs of medical institutions and kindergartens in. Uzbekistan This was announced by Hevel on February 9, 2023.

Hevel heterostructured solar modules with a total capacity of 400 kW will provide power to children's educational and medical institutions. Solar installations with a capacity of 5 to 15 kW have already been installed on the roofs of 18 kindergartens and 24 clinics in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan. The design, integrated supply, installation and adjustment of equipment for these projects was carried out by Beltekhtorg. Russian solar modules for the partner were supplied by Volta Energy.

Hevel heterostructural modules are highly efficient per square meter of area and provide maximum production in the climatic conditions of Central Asia, so they are optimal for roof installations, "said Nikolay Popov, director of Volta Energy, the official distributor of the Hevel plant in Russia and the CIS.

The Uzbek authorities have formed an effective incentive system for the introduction of renewable energy. Thus, the country has a support program for budgetary institutions in the field of education and health care, the implementation of which will replace up to 15% of the energy consumption of such facilities due to rooftop solar power plants.

Since 2023, a number of social facilities have been obliged to cover at least 25% of hot water and outdoor lighting consumption through renewable energy. We are talking about supermarkets, shops, markets, retail warehouses, gasoline and gas gas stations, airports, railway and bus stations, private educational and medical organizations, commercial banks and their branches.

When placing "green" generating plants on their plots, companies and individuals are exempted from paying property and land taxes. Under the national Renewable Energy Act, no permits are required to install green energy sources. Uzbekistan also provides individuals with compensation for the cost of purchasing solar photovoltaic stations and solar water heaters in the amount of 30%.
