On February 10, 2023, the company Cloud announced that freight carrier CRAFTER it had migrated its IT systems to Cloud platform (Cloud Technologies LLC).

CRAFTER has been operating in the road transportation market since 2010. The fleet of her cars for February 2023 is 22 thousand cars. The company's own development is used to manage vehicles: the Crafter.Online digital platform. It allows you to solve many problems: from fleet management, convenient search for flights and automation of all logistics processes to the formation of reporting documents. In 2022, CRAFTER needed to move this platform to the cloud resources of a new provider capable of supporting a fast-growing business and protecting against cyber attacks and vulnerabilities.

We tested several cloud market companies RUSSIAN FEDERATION and chose Cloud. The decisive argument was full compatibility with the services of our previous foreign supplier, which made it possible to transfer the system data without failures and force majeure. As a result of the move to Cloud resources, we have a reliable platform, thanks to which the CRAFTER.ONLINE system works smoothly during traffic surges, cyber attacks and other incidents. Users receive everything they need information at any time of the day, choose flights in 30 seconds, track online all information on flights, payments and documents and view the full flight history in their personal account, - commented Yuri Okunev, head of software development, CRAFTER.

Today CRAFTER uses the following Cloud services:

• Cloud Container Engine to quickly launch applications in Kubernetes clusters.
• Cloud Search Service for fast data search and analytics.
• RDS for PostgreSQL for database management.
• Object Storage Service - Scalable object storage for any amount of data.

In the future, CRAFTER plans to use Cloud's ML Space machine learning platform to predict the cost of transportation depending on the many parameters of the logistics request.
