"The warehouse complex" strengthened the solution Alyumosistem-Monolitstroy

The BUHTA company brought into commercial operation a management system "BUHTA: A warehouse complex" in a warehouse of the St. Petersburg company "Alyumosistem — Monolitstroy".

Change of the solution of the customer

Irina Semyonova, the development director of Alyumosistem-Monolitstroy Ltd explained feature of work of a warehouse complex. It that the equipment is transferred to the customer only after development of the individual project of installation. The project is developed on the basis of drawings of the customer and taking into account the available equipment as for the same object it is possible to use the timbering collected from different elements.

For the solution of this problem of accounting of the movement and existence of elements, in 2004 the company developed and started own Alyumo program. However, in connection with moving on a new warehouse around Parnas, there was a need of more effective use of the area of a warehouse, and the decision - to enter address storage was made.

The WMS system "BUHTA was selected : A warehouse complex" in the Distribution configuration which will be used together with the Alyumo program.

Additions

Individual completions of the program allowed to place long loads on console racks, taking into account different length. As a result, a system defines quantity of cells which are occupied by each specific pack, and considers these sizes at the subsequent placement. Also WMS "BUHTA" allows to monitor existence of elements of the equipment on objects of customers that is one of indispensable conditions for conducting similar business.
