RIVC-Pulkovo: Announcer (Cobra airport integrated automation system module)

On February 21, 2023, RIVTS-Pulkovo presented an automated sound information system for passengers at the Announcer airport (Part of the COBRA airport automation system). "Announcer" allows you to improve the passenger experience and optimize the work of airport employees.

The module is designed for targeted informing of passengers. The "announcer" in the automated mode creates messages for dubbing and forms a message queue. Information for voicing is automatically downloaded from the airport's daily flight plan. The administrator can monitor the message queue and run the required messages manually.

The announcer supports multi-zoning and allows you to form independent text patterns that will be broadcast in different zones, while the system can be controlled from one workplace.

The use of sound synthesizers allows a flexible approach to the formation of announcements. If new routes or airlines are added, it is unnecessary for the administrator to expand the set of sound files, the sound synthesizer will automatically form a new template.

The integration of Yandex SpeechKit technology allows you to voice messages in a voice that is difficult to distinguish from the real one. The technology is constantly evolving and opens up the possibility of creating its own unique key, which will only sound at a specific airport.

The system allows you to broadcast different types of messages. Both flight and information messages (advertising, technological or emergency) are available for dubbing.
