IBM buys 23yu developer company of BI systems

In September, 2010 it became known that IBM purchases Netezza company, the developer of analysis systems of data, for $1.7 billion. For the last four years the company spent $12 billion for purchase of 23 analytical companies. In particular, before IBM for $1.2 billion purchased the developer of analytical software for prediction of future trends of SPSS and for $5 billion Cognos company. Within the transaction with Netezza, IBM will pay $27 for each stock of the company that for 10% exceeds the market share price of Netezza at the time of closing of biddings on Friday, September 17. Total amount of the transaction will be $1.7 billion. After the message about this transaction of a stock of IBM rose in price for 1.2% up to $131.79.
