Urals Energy (SAP SEM-BCS)

2007: Implementing SAP NetWeaver 2004s, SAP BW 7.0, and SAP SEM-BCS

As part of the first phase of the Enterprise Finance Management for Enterprise Center project, BearingPoint helped implement the enterprise data warehouse on the SAP NetWeaver platform, on the basis of which all other subsystems of the CPM project were subsequently built.

As a result of the implementation of the system, management reporting and reporting for senior management of Urals Energy (DashBoard) is automatically generated monthly in the CPM system. The system also allows you to prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

Project results:

• Management reporting: providing much more information for management, increasing the comparability of data between the group's enterprises, reducing the time for reporting.
• Financial statements: reduced consolidation time and potentially reduced external audit time.
• Organizational structure: implementation of a standard structure in production facilities.
• IT: optimization of data flows, elimination of double input of information.
