2008: Implementation of Oracle BI and Oracle E-Business Suite solutions in the Russian division of Nokian Tyres

BearingPoint has completed a full-scale project to implement Oracle E-Business suite and reorganize business processes in the Russian division of Nokian Tyres.

The project included the processes of sales, supply, logistics, production, finance. In order to implement uniform business requirements, taking into account the specifics of Russian legislation, BearingPoint specialists introduced the concept of a local/global/mixed type of process, based on the location of the owners and key operators of the business process, as well as the impact of the business process on the final result.

BearingPoint was fully responsible for the implementation of the project, including the project office, business model design, system configuration, customized developments, including interfaces with outdated systems, testing, end user training, post-implementation support.

Within the framework of the project, work was also carried out to update the data warehouse and generate reporting on the basis of the data warehouse in the following functional areas: finance; production; supply; sales and distribution; warehouse management.

BearingPoint conducted an analysis of existing reporting, designed the logical architecture of the data warehouse, assigned the task to the storage developer, accompanied the development, and also organized testing and training of employees. BearingPoint continues to provide support services and participate in system development projects.
