Before the introduction of Biorg technology, incoming applications were processed mainly by Otkritie Investments employees and only during working hours. On weekends, applications were not processed. The bottleneck was the process of validating a passport photo. In conditions of a large flow of applications, the client was forced to wait up to 2 hours for a decision, in some cases up to a day. Most of the time was spent waiting in line for processing.

AI-based Beorg Smart Vision technology unloads employees by performing routine actions for them to recognize and verify documents. The solution eliminates queues for processing applications, including with an increasing flow of registrations, peak loads. Customers can remotely open an account and access transactions on the exchange in real time.

Before Biorg, we used another company's product to recognize passports, but it did not cover all needs. In particular, we could not make an unambiguous decision about the safe registration of the user, since a large number of passports were recognized with low quality, we had to double-check manually. The Beorg Smart Vision platform, on the contrary, gives us guaranteed recognition quality at the level of almost 100 percent and complete automation of the business process through a two-stage recognition and verification method. The broker's representatives plan to scale the AI digitization and recognition service to other document-intensive processes, where passport verification is also necessary.

Before the start of the project, the Biorg technology passed a step selection. For several months, the platform was "piloted" to make sure of the quality and speed of recognition. For about a month they accumulated and analyzed data, compared the results with alternative solutions in the market - for example, the offer of one of the companies turned out to be more expensive in the absence of guarantees for the quality and speed of processing.
