TRIM-Management of idle times

" TRIM-Management of idle times" is a set of the software and methodical tools allowing to implement at the enterprise an information system of monitoring of efficiency of the equipment and to measure in it numerical indicators of dead times in operation of the equipment, production lines or workshops. The solution provides to the customer appropriate means of automation and a ready technique for data collection, calculation and the analysis of these indicators. By decomposition of indicators it is possible to establish the reasons of losses and to develop remedial measures. Thus, the solution of" TRIM-Management of idle times" will help the customer to understand: what losses and as it is necessary to lower that quickly and considerably to increase production, without entering additional capacities. In this sense the solution of" TRIM-Management of idle times" helps to implement the concept of lean production directed, as we know, to elimination of all types of losses.

The system of indicators of overall effectiveness of the equipment known in world practice as OEE – Overall Equipment Effectiveness became a methodical basis of the solution of" TRIM-Management of idle times". According to OEE, the solution of" TRIM-Management of idle times" classifies all losses on three big groups: because of equipment downtimes, because of reduction in the rate of operation of the equipment, because of decline in quality of products. Reduction of speed can be counted in an equipment downtime interval. The periods when defects were made, are also equivalent to unproductive idle time. Thus, the task of management of losses comes down to management of idle times in number.

The software of TRIM (applied modules" Maintenance"," the Dispatching magazine"," the Directory") with preset tunings under a problem of monitoring of efficiency of the equipment is included in the solution delivery of" TRIM-Management of idle times". Besides, Spectec entered to structure of the solution the practices in the field of management consulting in the form of a set of the indicators calculated by a technique of OEE, and corresponding to these indicators of forms of analytical reports. The basic configuration of the solution of" TRIM-Management of idle times" is intended not less than for 3 users. It reflects approach of Spectec according to which in a monitoring system of efficiency of the equipment should be involved, at least, the operator of a production line, the service engineer (repairman) and the head. If object of monitoring are not one, and several production lines, it will entail the corresponding increase in number of users.

Delivery of the solution is performed in total with services of Spectec in its implementation. Degree of readiness of the solution allows to execute such project no more than in 2 months, including user training, balancing and commissioning, development of instructions, and taking into account possible works on adaptation of standard reports to needs of the customer. Spectec suggests to integrate it into development of a monitoring system of overall effectiveness of the equipment with the information management system maintenance and repairs (MRO ISU). Data from MRO ISU – about the made repairs, statistics of failures and damages to machinery and nodes, statistics of defects, is valuable information which should be used in a monitoring system of OEE for identification of the reasons of the losses caused by idle times because of failures.
