About the project

Institute named after N.E. Zhukovsky - Aviation State Scientific Center of Russia. There are more than 4,000 employees on staff. Previously, the company already had an intranet portal with information about the organization, but it was outdated, could not ensure the interaction of employees with each other and did not correspond to the corporate style.

Task

Finalize the existing portal so that all employees can intuitively understand navigation, get up-to-date information about the tasks of the Institute and quickly find contacts of colleagues. The integrator was Extyl.

Realization

Extyl has upgraded the portal architecture to make the interface user-friendly. Integrated AD, "1C: Salary and personnel of a state institution" to automate personnel accounting and payroll of employees.

Extyl specialists implemented Bitrix 24-based development with standard blocks, but changed the scripts so that the interface corresponded to the corporate style and was quite "light" in terms of the volume of graphic elements.

You have also set up the necessary user permissions so that each group is responsible for its own department and can independently change section structures and implement. Press secretaries are responsible for editing news sections, accountants - for filling the page "Details."

Staff in the Chancery Department can book meeting rooms and the Human Resources Department can edit employees' personal data, training courses and absence schedules.

All employees can update information in their profile, download documents, share, news plan their work day and synchronize with colleagues, view photo and video galleries, absence schedule or telephone reference book.

Results

The results of the project were as follows:

  • Employees are provided with a single point of access to content and corporate services.
  • The portal is resistant to high loads so that thousands of employees can use it at the same time and without interruptions.
  • The portal functionality is divided into groups of users. Employees now have only the tools they need to solve their tasks.
  • The user's navigation through the portal pages is optimized so that employees process tasks faster.

The project was implemented in 2 months and the portal continues to be supported by the integrator.
