2023: Transferring users to Nextcloud platform in the CROC cloud

The company Mondi SLPK JSC transferred corporate users from a foreign file exchange service to the Nextcloud platform in the CROC Cloud, implemented on the basis of open source technologies. Having received the ready-made infrastructure in 3 weeks, the company was able to implement a project to migrate 2,000 users in a short period of time. This was announced on March 20, 2923 by the CROC company.

In 2022, Mondi SLPK faced the task of localizing office systems in infrastructure in the Russian Federation. If earlier the company used Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Microsoft OneDrive, now it was necessary to connect another file-sharing platform. Key requirements for it were implementation in the cloud based on a certified data center, fault tolerance, flexible access rights management, integration with the user directory. In addition, Mondi SLPC needed to choose another platform, deploy it in the cloud infrastructure and start transferring user data in a short time.

The Nextcloud cloud service in the CROC Cloud has suited the company for all key criteria. The provider's specialists deployed the infrastructure in 3 weeks, configured the service and created the conditions for the migration of 2,000 Mondi SLPC users to a new platform. They also took over the support and administration of file sharing.

Mondi SLPC users received a file sharing system with flexible access rights and great functionality. Nextcloud is implemented in a fault-tolerant configuration based on three certified CROC data centers, supports single sign-on (SSO) technology and, two-factor authorization integrated with the directory service, allows you to connect external users, provides short link access and installation password for links.
