In 2023 Trading House "Fair" , he initiated the launch of a consolidation project into a single system based on the platform Optimacros of the analytical data commercial unit for analyzing and predicting the full cycle of product sales, including primary and secondary sales. The company Optimacros (Optimacros) announced this on March 16, 2023. The cooperation of the Fair TD with the Group of Companies began in 2019 when Optimacros the commercial department solved the task of optimizing the planning process and the operational formation of P&L reports, where the speed and detail of the processed data was a priority to form a plan-fact analysis of sales and operational planning.
By the beginning of cooperation in the production portfolio of TD "Fair there were about 600 items that were supplied to more than 400 counterparties. The planning process based on MS Excel and the ERP system used at that time had a number of restrictions. 10 managers had to spend about 5 working days on the formation of monthly reports, which included consolidated indicators for retail chains and product lines as a whole.
First of all, it was important for us to increase the efficiency of the workflow and the degree of detail of the financial statements. The system implemented earlier did not allow a detailed analysis, which would not require additional clarifications, therefore, it was decided to implement a solution that meets the current business needs. A sales planning unit was implemented on the Optimacros platform. Automated fact collection through import from the FTP server has been established. The calculation of planned financial indicators has become available in the context of counterparties and SKU based on data on product quantity, prices, tax rates. The speed of formation of the plan-fact reports was reduced from 5 to 1-2 days. A version analysis unit was also implemented and integration with 1C was established.
We got a tool that didn't just meet our need for agility and detailed sales planning. Thanks to the use of Optimacros in early 2022, we were able to quickly react to the changed economic conditions and restructure the company's strategy without the cost of time to develop and form new reporting systems. We made the necessary changes to the directories and received the usual efficiency, but already within the framework of the chosen strategy. During the period of use of the Optimacros platform, analysts of the Fairgrounds TD introduced additional options that go beyond the initial task. The company's specialists assessed the high efficiency of the platform, which allows automatically applying current current trends and, if necessary, making point changes when planning the next year's budget.
In 2023, another project was launched - the next step in building an integrated planning system, which includes the entire cycle of sales of goods from the warehouse to the end consumer.
