2023: Moving to "1C:ERP"

The transition from 1C: Integrated Automation to 1C:ERP allowed the Irbit Motorcycle Plant to fulfill production orders 1.5 times faster. The project was implemented by the Yekaterinburg office of the First Bit company, which announced this on March 23, 2023.

The capabilities of a combination of accounting systems "1C: Integrated Automation" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management" were not enough for full automation of motorcycle production.

Materials were recorded manually. It was impossible to control their movement and monitor the current remnants. There was no operational data on settlements with suppliers. As a result, warehouses were used inefficiently, materials were either not enough, or too much was accumulated.

In addition, the company needed tools to analyze costs, calculate cost and manage cash flows. Finally, the difficulties were added by the fact that due to the improvements in 1C: Integrated Automation, it was difficult to update in a timely manner.

The transition to the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2 system took place in two stages.

At the first stage, the First Bit team transferred data from historical systems to the established one, set up regulated and tax accounting, a warehouse block and work with purchases.

Through 1C:ERP, plant employees can manage shipments and receipts, quickly learn about the needs of production, and automatically calculate the cost of delivery of materials. As a result, warehouses began to be used much more efficiently.

The second stage was devoted to production and personnel accounting: sales, costs, salaries and personnel. Now the company has the tools to accurately calculate the cost and automatically form the composition of manufactured products.

In the updated personnel unit, the bonus calculation was implemented, depending on the number of orders shipped by the employee. Previously, rewards were calculated manually, which took a long time and led to errors.

The complete transition from 1S:KA to 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2 took 11 months. We moved all the remnants from 1S:KA and 1S:ZUP, developed additional functionality. Now the warehouse is used more efficiently, premiums are calculated more accurately, and production orders are processed 1.5 times faster.
