Tandberg which is nowadays division of Cisco Systems provided three devices, each of which is delivered to customers in completely ready and configured type. The software of protection and deduplication of data of AccuGuard Enterprise manages systems.
The first innovation — the desktop system of data protection AccuVault RDX. Capacity is it 1 TB: finds room on removable cartridges of RDX which are included in the delivery and allowing to store crucial data out of office so much.
Two other models represent 1U rackmount-solutions intended for rack-mounting. They differ, mainly, with capacity: modifications on 4 or 8 TB, allowing to service up to 20 or 40 servers respectively are issued. Both solutions are equipped with all necessary technologies for providing the enterprise with the most effective and reliable backup system and data recovery. Their arsenal includes support of RAID 5, "hot swap" of disks, the duplicated power supplies and two network interfaces. Besides, external baskets for RDX cartridges can be optionally connected to AccuVault 1U that allows to increase system power if necessary and also to apply additional security measures to especially valuable information.
