2025: Completion of Inpolus ESB Transition Project
On March 11, 2025, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) and Inpolyus announced the completion of Russia's largest project in the field of import substitution of binding software. MMK has implemented the domestic Inpolus ESB platform, which replaced the American Tibco products (ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks and Enterprise Message Service).
One of the key advantages of the Inpolus platform, the developer calls the ability to quickly migrate all existing information flows and business scenarios of the enterprise - without the need to recreate them. The product includes components such as "Service Register," "Script Manager," "Universal Script" and "Universal Connector": they provide a simple visual description of integration scenarios and, in most cases, their automatic execution - without the need for even minimal code development. It is possible to fully use a variety of options DBMS and other sources of information in scenarios, use SOAP and REST services, exchange messages through an open product, as well Kafka as use a wide range of other technologies and integration methods.
At MMK enterprises, Inpolus ESB operates around the clock with a continuous operating time (uptime) of 99.5%. At the same time, data loss in the event of failures of integration systems is practically excluded. In addition, the integrity of the transmitted information and its delivery, including the possibility of re-sending, is guaranteed. The platform handles delivery of over 10,000 messages per minute, and the event activation rate is less than 0.5 seconds.
The architecture of the deployed platform includes capabilities for rapid scaling and redundancy of components, ensuring business continuity, modularity and flexibility. According to the regulations, after short-term failures, the system must provide automatic recovery in no more than 30 minutes.
2022: Introduction of the Russian corporate service bus Polus ESB
The company Inpolius"" announced on March 23, 2023 that the corporate service bus developed by the company Polus ESB was chosen as the basic the Russian technologies one to replace the foreign one with integration software PJSC "."Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK)
This decision was made based on the results of a survey of Russian market ESB solutions, the selection of a product for testing and a pilot project using this product, completed in 2022. During the "pilot," customer representatives conducted a comprehensive testing and analysis of the selected ESB. An important feature of the development of Inpolus was the company's many years of experience in implementing large projects in the relevant area for a number of strategic Russian enterprises, as well as the qualification of engineers and an in-depth understanding of the complex aspects of ESB application in diverse organizations.
In large organizations, it is the service corporate bus that is responsible for the uninterrupted operation of various IC components, providing monitoring of their condition, data exchange and the ability to deploy applications in a short time. The more urgent is the problem faced by many domestic enterprises: as a result of the departure of Western vendors, it becomes necessary to implement a quick and safe transition to Russian systems, and without loss of functionality, quality and reliability. It is important here that both development and support are carried out in Russia and by Russian specialists. Underestimating risks here is fraught with serious consequences, and delaying the relevant projects can only aggravate the situation.
The Polus ESB service bus serves to unify development and execution environments and has a wide range of capabilities, including support for standard platform services, the ability to reuse data and data transformation and transfer logic, control and reduce the cost of implementing functionality, advanced IT service analytics and much more. The bus has connectors to almost all DBMS (including the Russian Postgres Pro) and supports the main formats for exchanging data and messages. The Polus ESB solution is registered in the Register of Domestic Software.
| Enterprise service bus is an important element in complex information systems, including those operating at Magnitogorsk metallurgical the mill. The company makes high demands on potential partners and carefully selects solutions that have the necessary functionality. The company also faced the task import substitution of switching to domestic solutions. Together with the company "Inpolus" a pilot project was completed, which fully fits into the strategy, and MMK now the company is ready to scale it to the entire enterprise, said Vadim Feoktistov, chief information technology specialist of PJSC MMK.

| A joint project with MMK showed that domestic technologies in the field of software integration, even in such a complex segment as a corporate service bus, are more than capable of replacing foreign counterparts. Since the developer is a completely Russian company, at the request of the customer, the functionality of the solution can be expanded and increased guarantees provided. The Company notes the qualification of the representatives of the Plant, their involvement in the implementation of the pilot project, timely feedback and objectivity. Joint work has become a good reserve for ensuring real import independence in the Russian IT market, added Dmitry Gryaznov, CEO of Inpolus.
