The automation system of retail banking business BαNCS was implemented in JSC B&N Bank in 2009 for the purpose of the improvement of product quality and services offered clients, increases in efficiency of business processes and competitiveness, optimization of infrastructure and expenses.
Project Progress
The BαNCS system was unrolled based on the disaster-proof infrastructure including two geographically distributed clusters and the work of key applications providing recovery time no more than 1 hour even in case of complete failure in one of DPCs. The project was implemented by the IBM company having wide experience on creation of the highly reliable, productive and failsafe systems. Specialists of IBM developed design and the plan of deployment of infrastructure, carried out installation, setup and testing of two clusters and also developed a set of operational documents. Infrastructure was constructed based on the IBM System p590 servers, storage systems of DS8300 and tape libraries TS3500.
