Cetera CMS is family of the Internet focused software products belonging to the class of content management systems (CMS). The main destination of such systems is management of information filling and interactive services in an Internet environment (the corporate websites, internet mass-media and the intranet portals).

Cetera CMS Enterprise Suite is the version of a system focused on corporate users and providing creation of the large corporate website, internet mass-media or a corporate portal.

• Actually external web resources (Front Office, Front End), available to visitors in compliance with access rights.
• Control interface and the publication (Back Office, Back End) — the thin client available to site administrators.

Platform and system requirements

Cetera CMS reasonably combines advantage of the most widespread and server and client platforms developed today based on the Windows and Unix operating systems.

All Back Office of a system as its part turned directly to the user is focused on use of the technologies of Microsoft company which are the de-facto standard in traditional office use.

Server part of a system is constructed on use of the software working running the Unix-like operating system. In this case the choice of the platform is dictated by its considerable prevalence, extremely high reliability and also the high level of information security support. Cetera CMS (server part) is constructed based on scripting language of compilation of PHP4 applications. At the same time the most often used DBMS is MySQL.

Cetera CMS is also completely compatible to the software package "Denver" used for debugging of the designed websites on Win32-systems.
