Dialogic BorderNet 500 Gateways

The Dialogic corporation provided on September 27, 2010 - a multifunction boundary element - Dialogic BorderNet 500 Gateways compatible to different architecture of corporate networks and a broad spectrum of the subscriber equipment. It allows to implement freely communication services based on SIP and to apply SIP technology of a trunking (automatic distribution of communication channels between subscribers). BorderNet 500 Gateways is the first product of the Dialogic BorderNet family integrating in itself the full-function boundary elements intended both for corporate customers and for service providers.

The gateways BorderNet 500 Gateways combine possibilities of boundary controllers of sessions (SBC) of an operator class and multimedia gateways. Thanks to it, they allow to organize connection of branch exchanges (PBX) or the systems of contact centers to different networks - both based on SIP, and to public telephone networks (TDM/PSTN).

The functionality of boundary controllers integrated into BorderNet 500 Gateways provides continuous protection of SIP traffic on network edge (function of the firewall). Thanks to existence of special tools and templates of configurations for work with 40 chief operators of communication, the compatibility of the connected corporate equipment with external networks is provided. Possibilities of a media gateway of BorderNet 500 Gateways allow to work with such interfaces and connection protocols to PSTN and PBX as T1/E1, PRI, the CAS, ISDN BRI. New gateways provide also protection of the SIP interface on network edge, considerably reducing danger of nesanktsionarovanny access, external SPAM-or the SPIT attacks and also use of the existing vulnerabilities of the SIP protocol.

The gateways BorderNet 500 Gateways allow to start SIP services practically in any corporate network environment, regardless of its capability to support the SIP protocol or to interact with SIP. The product also gives the chance more flexibly to distribute communication channels between subscribers, supporting such complete communication solutions as IVR, message exchange, contact centers, conference communication and many other things.
