The international transport company "Transit" has automated business processes for servicing a temporary storage warehouse. Thanks to this, the company was able to increase the turnover of the warehouse by 6 times. The project was implemented by the Brest office of the international IT integrator "First Bit," which announced this on March 30, 2023.

In 2022 Belarus , it introduced a ban on entry into the republic transport of funds registered in. European Union This measure became a response to the introduced ban on entry and transit to the EU for Belarusian and Russian carriers. Thus, checkpoints were identified where carriers can perform operations to reload and reload goods.

The Transit transport company was able to obtain permission from the government to use its own temporary storage warehouse as a checkpoint for the implementation of a complex of warehouse services for reloading and reloading tractors. It took a lot of time to draw up the relevant documents for vehicles. Contracts, invoices were issued manually in Word, their distribution to customers was also made manually. From the moment the vehicle entered the territory of the temporary storage warehouse to the moment of its departure, it could take several days.

To optimize the business processes for reloading/transshipment of goods at the temporary storage warehouse, the specialists of the First Bit have developed a solution based on 1C. It automated the formation of a price list, which takes into account the cost of the service in a certain time period, as well as an invoice that is issued to the client indicating the list of services provided according to the list list. As for the contract, it is formed automatically, with the filling of all the necessary fields (date, full name of the employee working with the contract, power of attorney, etc.). An option is also implemented that protects against the reuse of one-time contracts. This functionality was developed primarily to reduce unnecessary manipulations by employees in order to speed up the operation of the terminal of the temporary storage warehouse and take into account all overloads and overloads.

The system provides the ability to automatically send invoices to a customer in PDF format after approval of the document by company employees. This allows the selected counterparties to be sent directly to facsimile and signature invoices. In turn, clients through their personal account in the application can view all these documents, download scans of acts, form reconciliation acts, get information on prices and debts.

Thus, due to automation, the vehicle downtime was reduced, the human factor was minimized, and at the same time the number of errors, the loss of documents was excluded, which together increased the turnover of the temporary storage warehouse by 6 times.
