2023: Cloud Cloud Migration

Stoloto has deployed systems responsible for processing payouts and sales of printing lottery tickets on the cloud platform of Cloud (Cloud Technologies LLC), which announced this on April 6, 2023.

Stoloto has one of the country's largest distribution systems, combined into a single IT landscape that ensures the sale of electronic and printing lottery tickets, as well as the payment of winnings. Many people still choose typographic tickets. To increase the security of the systems responsible for processing payments and sales of such tickets, Stoloto moved them from the foreign cloud to the Cloud.

The project to transfer Stoloto systems to the Cloud required comprehensive analysis and full immersion of our team, especially the customer's business. It is such a client-centric approach, when we carefully focus on the needs of the customer, and not just on our product, that ultimately helped us to carry out the migration process as soon as possible, in fact, in a day. In general, this project is a vivid example of how the Russian cloud helps to increase the security and efficiency of customers' businesses, "commented Andrei Zotov, Commercial Director of Cloud.

In the near future time , Stoloto plans to connect other PaaS Cloud services, for example, Cloud Container Engine based on. A seamless transition to the Russian cloud had to be carried out in a "burning" time, while maintaining the stable operation of critical services. We analyzed the market and made a choice in favor of Cloud, since the provider had one of the most extensive data center systems in Russia, "commented Vladimir Merkulov, Deputy Director for Information Technology at the multidisciplinary holding S8 Capital (which includes Stoloto). - The retail chain did not feel any costs associated with migration: ticket sales and payouts did not stop, and all systems worked as usual. In addition, we managed to increase the security of our systems and reduce infrastructure costs by 30%. Due to the fact that all Cloud data centers are located in Russia, Stoloto has the opportunity to develop in the technological sphere, implementing previously inaccessible projects. For example, the removal of such restrictions allows you to work in the future on the launch of marketing promotions and loyalty programs that take into account personal data.
