2016: Enhanced videoconferencing and presentation rooms

Abak2000 employees were tasked with expanding the capabilities of video conferencing systems and presentation rooms.

The need for modernization arose according to the current needs of the Regional Administration. The customer put forward requirements for centralized management of the hall, its video broadcasting systems, mixing and distribution of audio during meetings and remote conferences with areas of the region. The task was also set to provide the opportunity to online broadcast events taking place in the hall to external websites and record them for the subsequent provision of broadcasts.

To implement these requirements, work was carried out to equip and configure the customer's existing systems with additional equipment, the scheme of switching nodes of all systems was revised to optimize the quality of the provided content and expand the functionality of the existing equipment.

During the project, outdated VKS equipment was replaced with modern PolycomRealPresenceGroup codecs. This system made it easy to connect publicly available VKS software solutions from Microsoft to joint meetings held in the central hall.

As a solution for switching and scaling video signals, the equipment-based matrix switching method already installed at the customer was expanded and supplemented, a Kramer continuous 4x4HFS switch was added to the scheme. When modernizing acoustic systems and improving the operation of the congress system Bosch , the company's specialists developed additional schemes for reservations the distribution of audio channels.
