2023: Implementation of SearchInform CIB, SerchInform FileAuditor and SearchInform solutions

Etalon Group introduced the products of the SearchInform ecosystem. This was announced on April 6, 2023 by the SearchInform company. One of the tasks set by the customer is comprehensive data protection and control of the company's infrastructure. The history of cooperation between Etalon Group and SearchInform began in 2021. As of April 2023, the organization has deployed the DLP system "SearchInform CIB," the DCAP system "SearchInform FileAuditor" and "SearchInform SIEM."

The first was the DLP system, the programs of several manufacturers were tested and came to the conclusion that the "SearchInform CIB" is "more compact" and more convenient to administer - all analytics are in the same management console. In it, you can get a detailed idea of ​ ​ the incident and form the report of interest. DLP of another vendor, which was piloted, consisted of several products and, in terms of work, it turned out to be inconvenient, stated a representative of the information security department of the Etalon Group.

Separately, the customer noted the work of implementation managers, calling it a kind of "calling card" of the company "SearchInform."

The Etalon group is an operator, personal data so the company needs to be monitored file storages using the DCAP system. The implementation of ChurchInform FileAuditor allowed protect personal data customers and employees, commercial documents, as well as drawings and technical documentation.

The processing of a large amount of personal data sets the task for the Etalon Group to strengthen their protection and control file storage in general. The main tasks faced by FileAuditor were monitoring personal data, tracking illegal access, protecting technical documentation and source code of the Group's systems. Additionally, the system managed to transfer outdated information to the archive, thereby freeing up file storage resources, told in the information security department of the Etalon Group.

At the last stage, the customer implemented SearchInform SIEM, a system for monitoring and correlating information security events. The system processes a large stream of information security events, analyzes them, detects incidents in accordance with the rules, detects threats by identifying correlations of events and/or incidents. The customer noted that it is convenient to work with various sources of information security events at SearchInform SIEM.

According to the SearchInform study, 40% of construction companies faced information leaks in 2022. Insiders are interested in marketing data and technical documentation about projects, as well as customer data and financial information. Damage from such incidents is estimated at millions of rubles. The company provides customers with a set of products that seamlessly integrate and help fully protect their business.
