2023: Development of a voice pendant kiosk
MONS, a subsidiary of Korus Consulting Group of Companies, has developed a kiosk with a digital voice consultant for the flagship MPSC of St. Petersburg. Now visitors will be able to quickly receive the necessary information in voice mode, and the institution will be able to optimize work with appeals. This was announced by Korus Consulting on April 10, 2023.
SPb GKU "MPSC" provides state services on the principle of "one window" both for the population and for business. As of April 2023, 69 stationary structural units for 1224 windows for receiving and issuing documents operate in St. Petersburg. The institution constantly strives to improve the quality of the provision of state and municipal services, and also introduces services that improve the work of serving visitors. One of the decisions that appeared in the work of the MPSC network was the infokisk, which will speed up the work on obtaining the necessary information from citizens in the unit.
MONS specialists have created an information kiosk with Aurora voice control based on open source technologies and their own developments. This is a hardware and software complex with a graphical interface and a voice assistant. Earlier, the company has already worked with the St. Petersburg MPSC: in particular, it has implemented comprehensive projects to support and modernize the institution's IT infrastructure.
During the implementation of the kiosk, specialists trained neural networks so that the system correctly reads users' intentions and gives the most correct response, as well as developed a kiosk design and a graphical interface. It took about two months to launch the test version of Aurora. Such a short period of time is due to the deep expertise of IT company employees in neural networks, as well as voice and cloud technologies of Yandex.
Thanks to a kiosk with voice control, MPSC visitors can quickly, without standing in line, receive information about services and necessary documents, find out the details for paying the state duty, about organizations and other necessary information. Aurora also helps to navigate the MPSC. At the request of the user, the information is sent to e-mail.
MONS plans to improve solutions of this class and implement them both for the public sector and in the commercial sector.
For April 2023, we collect dialogue statistics to analyze which requests are most popular with visitors. Based on the conclusions, the system will be additionally trained and, as a result, it will be able to understand more user intentions, which means providing more services, - said Vadim Kudrin, head of Research and Development at MONS. |
