2023: Astra Linux Special Edition License Purchases

PSB is switching to the Russian operating system Astra Linux Special Edition. This was announced on April 12, 2023 by Astra Group of Companies.

The bank acquired licenses for the Astra Linux Special Edition operating system for all user workplaces as a target platform, as well as for use on server equipment for operating application systems.

Built into the Astra Linux Special Edition operating system, certified information protection tools provide the necessary data security for the bank. Another important factor that determined the choice of this system was the presence of proven migration mechanisms, thanks to which workflow continuity remains even during software implementation.

In the current economic conditions, simultaneously with large-scale transformations within the framework of the digital transformation strategy, the bank is faced with the task of ensuring technological independence from imported equipment and software. The Bank pays close attention to cybersecurity and the protection of confidential information.
