Gazpromneft filling station network transfers management of non-fuel reserves to domestic technological platform GoodsForecast

2023: Transition to GoodsForecast begins

On April 13, 2023, GoodsForecast (Gudfokast) announced that the Gazpromneft filling station network had begun a phased transfer of automated inventory management processes for related (non-fuel) goods to the Russian integrated business planning platform GoodsForecast, which will improve the reliability and efficiency of the system.

The automated assortment and inventory management system was developed by GoodsForecast for the Gazpromneft filling station network in 2021. In 2022, as part of the development of this solution, it was possible to automate more than 300 thousand hours of manual work of personnel and increase the representation of goods by reducing zero balances by 33% with a total decrease in the level of reserves by 12%.

The transfer of the current system functionality to the Russian technological stack is planned to be completed in the fall of 2023. In this case, modules will be added to the system to predict the effectiveness of promotions and a number of other improvements will be made. At the next stages, it is planned to further develop methods for centralizing operational management of reserves and analytics of non-fuel business processes at gas stations of the Gazpromneft network in Russia.
