Rosneft selects EDMS for "daughter"

The RN-Inform company, 100% the affiliated enterprise of Rosneft which is responsible for automation of assets of holding announced the tender for system implementation of electronic document management (EDMS) in "RN-Uchet", accounting division of Rosneft.

The core activity "RN-Uchet" - rendering services in conducting accounting and tax accounting of JSC Rosneft. This Quite Large Enterprise with an Extensive Network from 9 Branches and 48 Territorial Departments with a Total Number About 4 Thousand People. RN-Uchet services more than three hundred enterprises of Rosneft and is one of the largest specialized accounting organizations of the country.

According to conditions of the tender posted on the official competitive site of Rosneft, requests of system integrators for participation will be accepted till October 5 of the current year. The main requirement to new EDMS "RN-Ucheta" – existence in quality of a software platform of IBM Lotus Notes/Domino. Wishes to the contractor: experience of implementation of similar projects, experience of interaction with affiliated structures of JSC Rosneft and existence of necessary safety certificates of a system.

During the project on implementation of EDMS in "RN-Uchet" it is going to automate as the central office of the company in Moscow, so branches in the cities of Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nefteyugansk, Izhevsk, Samara, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Voronezh and others. In total in all branches 3850 jobs should be automated. At the same time the technical project assumes that in three of them, central Moscow, Samara and Krasnoyarsk, EDMS will be put into test operation until the end of 2010. In all others trial operation should begin during 2011.

As Elena Denisova explained TAdviser, the head of department "RN-Inform", in Rosneft is not present the corporate standard concerning EDMS, but there is an approved software platform for electronic document management - IBM Lotus Notes/Domino, as is reflected in tender conditions. It means that to participation in the tender any system based on - IBM Lotus Notes/Domino can be offered.

In fact, the IT landscape Oil Company Rosneft regarding EDMS looks at the moment quite separate. From recently completed large ECM projects of holding it is possible to note implementation in "Rosneft-Smolensknefteprodukt Oil Company last summer of the Euphrates Document Flow system. Also at the beginning of 2009 the ECM project in JSC Oil Company Rosneft Stavropol Territory came to the end, in this project a system Case was the basis.

Slightly earlier, in 2007 there took place implementation of Directum on Tuapse Refinery of Rosneft, and in 2008 RN-Sakhalinmorneftegaz upgraded EDMS "BOSS-Referent" to the new version. One more implementation given to publicity is installation of EDMS DocsVision on Syzran Refinery which is also belonging to Rosneft. Thus, at child structures of Rosneft there is all pool of the electronic document management systems occupying an essential share in the domestic market.

Meanwhile, the head structure of Rosneft uses a system BOSS-Referent as EDMS. In IT company which is a developer of this EDMS, did not comment whether they are going to take part in the tender for "RN-Uchet".
