Deliveries of Russian equipment for clinical and biological research with open source software have begun. The press service of Rostec announced this on April 17, 2023.

We are talking about a plate photometer with the help of which an enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) is carried out. The EFOS 9305 photometer was developed by specialists from the Moscow Sapphire plant to identify pathogens and enzymes.

The analyzer, which allows to process up to 96 samples simultaneously, includes four filters (wavelength 405, 450, 490 and 620 nm). It is capable of automatic measurement at two wavelengths at the same time. It has open embedded software allows you to describe up to 200 tests to a laboratory assistant and store them in memory, display the measurement protocol and final research results on the monitor screen and printer. If necessary, it has the ability to transfer data to an external computer.

In medical practice, it is used in the diagnosis of bacterial, viral and protozoal infections, as well as autoimmune, allergic, hereditary and oncological diseases.

At the same time, with the help of a photometer, the quality of pharmaceuticals is analyzed, as well as research is carried out in the interests of the food industry and agriculture. The measurement protocol and final test results are stored in the device memory or displayed on the monitor screen and printer.
