MTS to build Private LTE network at Seligdar gold mining enterprises in Yakutia

The deployment of the Private LTE network on the territory of JSC "Gold Seligdara" will allow automating production processes, introducing telemetry, remote management of equipment, transport and drilling and blasting, transferring video information from stationary and mobile video cameras to the dispatching console and further modernizing the IT infrastructure - creating systems for collecting, processing, storing and transmitting information, as well as providing secure access to centralized IT resources from mobile devices.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to place the core of a dedicated network from a domestic manufacturer, NTC Protei LLC, at the customer and deploy the MCPTT (Mission Critical Push-to-Talk) radio communication platform over the dedicated LTE network, which will eliminate the use of the outdated narrowband group dispatch communication system of the TETRA standard and increase the efficiency of personnel.
