Flexible 4 Business

Orange Business Services, Cisco, EMC and VMware formed alliance Flexible 4 Business in September, 2010 to offer corporate customers a range of services in the field of cloud computing. Orange Business Services will become provider of services for all projects of alliance, providing four types of the managed cloud solutions on model of payment pay-per-use; technologies of four companies are the cornerstone of these solutions. At the first stage the portfolio of cloud services of alliance Flexible 4 Business will consist of solutions of IaaS (infrastructure as service), including solutions on creation of private clouds and reservation, and SaaS (software as service), including solutions in the field of security and unified communications.

Orange Business Services on the basis of the portfolio of cloud solutions with assistance of alliance Flexible 4 Business will help corporate customers to estimate all advantages of the IT as Service model, without costs for creation of own cloud infrastructure. Using uniform provider customers will be able to accelerate implementation of cloud solutions with high degree of security at the enterprises and at the same time to get rid of excessive complexity in management.

Cloud solutions which will be provided by alliance Flexible 4 Business:

Infrastructure as service (IaaS):

§ private cloud: the customized solutions on the basis of boxed offers of Vblock Infrastructure Packages which integrate the technologies of virtualization, creation of networks, best in the class, data processings, storages, security and managements from Cisco, EMC and VMware in the complex directory of services (data processing, storage, operating systems, the middleware) on the basis of platforms which are on a hosting in DPCs of Orange, subcontractors or customers. The relevant decisions are controlled Orange Business Services on model "as service" that provides necessary flexibility and high degree of security;

§ services in reservation: the managed solutions on reservation with high degree of security which are on a hosting at the operator and provided as service: are scaled and paid on the basis of real use and allow to get all advantages of effective solution which evolves according to business needs and does not require initial investments.

Software as service (SaaS):

§ solutions in the field of security: allow to propose anti-virus solutions and URL filters as service. With these solutions SaaS end users get all advantages of permanent protection, even being out of office, and the companies can implement effective and clear policies in the field of security for read seconds;

§ solutions in the field of unified communications: complete solutions in the field of unified communications are controlled Orange Business Services and are on a hosting in DPCs of the operator for the purpose of cost reduction. Solutions are available from terminals of any type. Administrators can distribute services according to requirements and thus adapt use of service and costs.
