Sitronics Group on May 10, 2023 announced the launch of its own production of data centers designed to quickly build a full-fledged digital infrastructure and urgently increase computing power.

For May 2023, Sitronics Group offers three options for assembling modular data centers. The first one allows you to deploy and launch the complex as quickly as possible. The capacity of such a data center is from 4 to 16 racks. For tasks that require more than six racks, you can install either one container of non-standard dimensions or make an assembly of two. The second option is to use modules with a standard container form factor, which also optimizes the time and cost of delivering a modular data center to the most remote regions. The standard machine room of such a module consists of three containers and accommodates from 30 to 32 racks. The presence of basement and mezzanine modules provides enough space for the free placement of IT equipment and engineering systems. The IT power of the module is 150-200 kW. To accommodate such a complex, a certain preparation of the site is required - for the introduction of power cables, the organization of water supply and drainage.

The third solution is large modular data centers. In this case, the module already houses 120-128 racks and has an IT power of up to 1200 kW. The dimensions of the self-supporting blocks exceed the dimensions of a standard marine container, but are also combined into clusters. The additional administrative module contains storage, unpacking areas, as well as a room for duty services.

IT hardware can include versatile rack servers (SSRs) optimized for a wide range of tasks, as well as high-performance critical data servers that provide critical load resiliency (SRH) from Sitronics Group. Also, an IT developer can use his own virtualization platform to distribute the resources of a physical server between isolated virtual machines, entered in the register of the Ministry of Digital Science of the Russian Federation.

Most of the subsystems in our modular data centers are domestic. Equipping our solution with server equipment manufactured by Sitronics is one of the options. But the approach to equipment for each customer is so individual that we have created an opportunity for the integration of equipment and other tested Russian manufacturers, "says Igor Anisimov, director of the Sitronics Group data center department.

To build a data center, the company does not use ready-made systems, but components in such a way that each of them has one or more replacement options. Russian products and their imported analogues are constantly being tested to create a portfolio of standard solutions. As of May 2023, the share of domestic components in modular data centers produced by the company exceeds 60%, the Sitronics Group specified.

We also focus on service support for solutions: we provide a rigid SLA for service availability, including for regional installations, a basic three-year warranty and additional warranty service for another two years. As a result, the customer receives a reliable turnkey data center for at least five years and a response to critical incidents within a few hours. Moreover, now our mobile data centers are in the stage of obtaining a Tier Ready certification in the Tier III level, - said Aleksei Morozov, vice president of technology at Sitronics Group.

Compliance of the object with Tier III requirements for customers means that in case of a single failure and maintenance, the data center will continue to operate and ensure the operation of IT services.
