2023: Krost bought the Klinsky Design and Construction Plant

On May 15, 2023, it became known that the structure associated with the Krost concern bought out a plant for the production of reinforced concrete panels, previously owned by the international investment and construction group SU-155.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, we are talking about an object in Klin, a city of regional subordination in the Moscow region. The capacity of this plant makes it possible to build up to 300 thousand square meters of housing per year. In 2018, the SU-155 was declared bankrupt, and the assets of this group, which united more than 80 enterprises, began to be acquired by other market players.

On May 11, 2023, a contract for the sale and purchase of property of Klinsky Design and Construction Plant JSC, which was part of the SU-155 group, was published. The document says that the corresponding assets were sold to Enki LLC for 431 million rubles. The new owner of the enterprise is related to the Krost concern Alexei Dobashin. In particular, among the founders of Enki LLC is Element LLC, the beneficiary of which is Viktor Mosin, who heads a number of Krosta structures.

Kommersant notes that the former SU-155 plant in Klin will be able to supply products both for Krosta commercial projects and for facilities being built under state orders. The fact is that in 2022-2023 alone, Krost-D LLC, controlled by the concern, concluded a number of government construction contracts totaling approximately 14.9 billion rubles.

The transaction is part of Krosta's comprehensive program to expand production assets. The concern owns 18 factories, among which there is a network of enterprises for the manufacture of concrete. The purchase of SU-155 capacities in Klin will help Krost further reduce the cost of construction, as well as reduce dependence on subcontractors and third-party suppliers.[1]
