2023: Replacing Microsoft SharePoint with K-Team

Thanks to the interface, the employees of the Group of Companies "" Transscrap were able to quickly adapt to the implemented system.

The Translom group of companies is engaged in the procurement, processing and sale of scrap, has representation in all federal districts of the Russian Federation. The number of employees as of May 2023 is about 2000 people. Previously, the company used the portal based on Microsoft SharePoint, but in 2022, due to the suspension of Microsoft in Russia, it decided to transfer the portal to a domestic platform.

The core of the system was the ready-made corporate portal K-Team, created in KORUS Consulting on the basis of 1C-Bitrix24. The portal has a convenient main page, which reflects important news and messages for employees, birthdays of colleagues, newcomers to the company, there are quick links to the main and most popular sections of the portal. It was important for Translom Group of Companies to keep the publications of the previous portal, so the KORUS Consulting team moved all the news from the old intranet to the new one, preserving not only the content of each news, but also the date of publication.

Taking into account the peculiarities of the organizational structure of the Translom group of companies, during the project an additional visual display of the functional subordination of employees of the enterprise was developed.

Also, a personal account has appeared on the intranet, where you can familiarize yourself with information about the employee's places of work, taking into account the combination of positions at the enterprise, the VHI policy, the number of days of vacation, and it is also possible to go to the HRLink service for issuing vacations and other personnel documents.

In the created portal, the "Gratitude" functionality, which is familiar to Translom employees, has been preserved, which allows encouraging the work of colleagues. Employees have the opportunity to thank each other by choosing one of several categories: "For help in work," "For prompt solution of the issue," "For courtesy," etc. For each gratitude received, the employee receives points in the form of local currency "koina," which in the future will be able to spend in the corporate gift store.

For training and career development, the portal provides content sections "Training" and "Library."

As a result of the project, the company managed to quickly replace the foreign IT solution with the Russian one and organize seamless migration of all data from the old portal.

Translom employees are already actively using the intranet, and the KORUS Consulting team continues to develop the portal, working on the new Premium Cards module. It will automate the process of creating and coordinating plan and actual indicators for TOP managers. Each map can be assigned a list of KPIs that are easy to track progress.

In the next releases, the Translom group plans to supplement the portal with the Knowledge Base module for systematic storage and use of information.

We managed to preserve the important attributes of the old portal for the staff, as well as create the most convenient and intuitive interface so that people can quickly adapt to the new system. At the same time, we added a lot of new functionality, which made the portal even more efficient and more popular among employees, - said Anton Bobrov, director of the corporate services department of KORUS Consulting Group of Companies.
