Linxdatacenter on May 17, 2023 announced the launch of the next generation NGFW virtual mesh screen for integrated protection of resources in the cloud. The development of the domestic vendor UserGate was chosen as the basis of the solution.

The Next Generation (or Firewall NGFW) firewall is a support tool information security for filtering traffic on a corporate network. It has a number of additional qualities compared to the classic firewall, in particular, it analyzes traffic deeper and allows system administrators to fine-tune security policies. The virtual firewall is deployed in the infrastructure cloudy provider and does not place additional strain on server the customer's hardware.

The service was chosen after careful comparison of the developments of several Russian vendors and tested within two months as part of a pilot project with one of the customers of Linxdatacenter, a large Russian industrial company.

The UserGate approach is based on the development of its own technologies that can compete with foreign counterparts.
