2023: Building Technology

The St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (GUAP) has developed an anthropometric model of a brush grip amplifier based on additive technologies. Exoruca can find application in medicine. This was reported in May 2023 by the press service of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation "Priority 2030."

It is noted that a new version of the exokist was proposed by a student of the GUAP Tatyana Ushakova. The product is characterized by heat resistance and strength. The glove provides safety thanks to its body, which is made of high-strength plastic.

The GUAP created an exo-brush that increases the strength of the hand with hard physical work

{{quote 'Initially, the development was intended for the rehabilitation of people with damaged upper limbs as an extensor flexor, but then we switched to helping workers from industrial and production enterprises: logistics, warehouse cargo movements, work related to dimensional objects, - explained the project manager, deputy director of the Institute of FPT GUAP for scientific work Stanislav Nazarevich. }}

Doctors who perform operations without automated technologies will also be able to use the glove to reduce load and increase work speed. According to Ushakova, existing analogues work on servo drives or pneumatics, while GUAP has come up with a new principle of operation. The exoptera can be controlled in two ways: tactile (by pressing buttons or touch panels), as well as through gel electrodes that read the pulse.

The project received a silver medal in the competition "The best innovative project and the best scientific and technical development of the year" at the innovation exhibition. The development was carried out within the framework of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia "Priority 2030" (national project "Science and Universities").[1]
