2023: Announcement of the digital system "Dancer"

On May 18, 2023, the R&D Center "Octava Design and Marketing" introduced the technology for creating musical works in real time - the digital system "Dancer." The development is based on fijital telchnologies that combine digital and physical spaces. The hardware and software complex creates music without a time delay using voice processing algorithms and the capabilities of computer vision, which determines the dance movements of people in the hall.

As reported, the project is aimed at the development of domestic fijital technologies. This is especially important in the light of the upcoming "Games of the Future" - a large-scale sports event built on the concept of fijital and supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Technically, the project looks like this: a 2D camera is directed to the dance floor, the image from it is analyzed by computer vision algorithms that determine movements. The sound picture in the room is recorded using the Octava OWS-U1200H radio system. A specially trained neural network connects the sound of the surrounding space - background noise, conversation of guests (without speech recognition), steps, etc. - with the movements of the dancing person, as well as the voice of the performer. The vocals complement the melodic basis of a real-time piece of music generated by artificial intelligence.
