2023: Smart Electricity Metering System Implementation Plan

Sitronics Group on May 24, 2023 announced that it would introduce an intelligent electricity accounting system in Novosibirsk Energy Sobyt JSC.

A multidisciplinary IT developer will install more than 9.6 thousand intelligent metering devices (PU) in apartment buildings (MKD) and connect about 20 thousand devices in new buildings to the network. PU will transmit data in real time to the IoT platform, which will allow the resource-supplying organization to ensure online control of the performance of devices, reduce the cost of taking readings, turn off unscrupulous consumers, and also reduce the costs of residents of apartment buildings (MKD) to pay for common house needs.

The solution shows the current state of the electric meters, allows you to set the parameters of their polling, receive and transfer data from them to the billing system of Novosibirsk Energy Service. To communicate each IoT device, the developers will build a LoRaWAN network for data transfer.

Sitronics Group should develop an intelligent accounting platform, by the end of 2023 install about 10 thousand smart metering devices instead of faulty and expiring verification interval, as well as connect 30 thousand metering devices to it, including those installed in newly built MKD. Intellectual accounting can reduce consumer costs for general house needs, make the process of calculating utility bills as transparent as possible, and help stop illegal connections, "said Alexander Mikhailishin, Deputy General Director - Technical Director of the company.
