2023: Deliveries begin

Holding Roselectronics"" of the State Corporation Rostec began supplying compact satellite stations for the organization of broadband communications in the field. The equipment is capable of operating at extreme temperatures, high wind loads and at the same time fits into a regular backpack. Roselectronics announced this on June 6, 2023.

The presented radio station, developed by the SPC (part of Roselectronics), provides an information transmission rate via a satellite communication channel from 2 to 4 Mbps. The total weight of the product, depending on the modification, ranges from 5 to 10 kg, the diameter of the collapsible antenna is 55 cm, and the deployment of the radio station takes no more than 2 minutes. The equipment is capable of operating at temperatures from -45 to + 55 ° С and withstands a hard storm with a wind speed of up to 30 m/s.

The development is easy to set up and is a versatile platform that is compatible with a wide range of modem equipment. Thanks to interchangeable irradiators, the radio station is able to operate in Ku-, Ka- and Q/Ka - frequency bands.

The product is included in the mobile communication nodes for operation in emergency situations (ICC ES). Complexes based on specialized car KAMAZ cross-country capability are produced (Ryazan Radio Plant part of Roselectronics) and supplied. EMERCOM of Russia

The radio station is an initiative development of the SPC for the civil market, which is not inferior in technical characteristics to foreign equipment. The solution can be applied not only by emergency response services, the equipment allows you to quickly organize a satellite channel, for example, during repair work at remote industrial facilities or provide communication during field events. The first serial products have already been shipped to the Ryazan Radio Plant to equip the ICC Emergency Situations, "said Anatoly Popovich, General Director of the SPC.
