2023: Product Announcement

On June 5, 2023, it became known that the world's first manned flying saucer was created in China. An unusual device developed by Shenzhen UFO Technology made its debut flight in Shenzhen Talent Park.

The cymbal has a futuristic design with a transparent domed compartment in the central section that provides an excellent circular view for the pilot. Passenger seats are not provided. Take-off and landing are carried out in vertical mode; the aircraft is held on the ground by three supports.

Six holes are arranged around body circumference to accommodate twin screws. Power is provided by a battery pack, the charge of which is enough for about 15 minutes in the air. The dish can rise to an altitude of up to 200 meters, and the speed of horizontal flight reaches 50 km/h. The possibility of manual and automatic control has been implemented: this allows a person inside to either feel like a full-fledged commander of the aircraft of the future, or simply enjoy panoramic views from a bird's eye view.

It is noted that the design of the tray involves the redundancy of all key units, including the power supply circuit, power drives and controls. Thanks to this, a high level of security is achieved. In addition, the device is able to take off from the water surface and board it.

It took more than three years to develop the novelty, and the design itself has already been patented. The project was attended by specialists from Beijing University of Aviation and Cosmonautics, as well as the North-Western Polytechnic University of the PRC. At first, it is planned to use a flying saucer in the advertising area and in the tourism sector. Nothing is reported about how much it will cost to fly on a unique aircraft.[1]
