Moscow National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics bought a robot for the treatment of the spine

Customers: Russian Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after Vreden (RNIITO), FSU

Contractors: McBrothers

Project date: 2023/06

In June 2023, the R.R. Vreden National Medical Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation announced the use of the Robospine robotic system from McBrothers for the non-surgical treatment of the spine in patients with various diseases.

As indicated on the manufacturer's website, Robospine uses the principle of decompression and soft mechanical action. Local stretching of the vertebrae creates a vacuum effect that draws in hernial protrusion, eliminates pinching and leads to the restoration of normal disc structure. The technology activates the mechanisms of sanogenesis and contributes to the restoration of the initial correct biomechanical relationships between the vertebrae. McBrothers Robospine allows you to:

straighten the pinch; relieve pain and tension in rheumatism, spinal canal stenosis, kyphosis, scoliosis, intervertebral herniation of discs, facet syndrome of joints and myofascial syndrome; reduce muscle spasms and intradiscal pressure; eliminate subluxations in intervertebral joints; increase vertical diameter of intervertebral holes.

McBrothers Robospine

By June 6, 2023, 152 patients of all age groups with degenerative-dystrophic diseases of various parts of the spine (DBD with vertebrogenic muscle-tonic and pain syndromes, MTD protrusion, hernia formation, spinal canal stenosis, compression and dyshemic root syndromes, functional disorders in the CPS, pseudo-spondylospondosis, including pseudo-spinal artery) underwent course treatment at McBrothers Robospine.

As shown by dynamic observations, a durable therapeutic effect was achieved in 42% of patients after three procedures and in 58% of patients after five procedures. With an increase in the number of procedures to 10, a steady positive result is observed in 93% of patients.
